DR-25 Raychem jacket.
DR-25 is the heat-shrink jacketing used in aerospace and professional motorsport wiring. It resists abrasion, fuel, oil and brake fluid, and it holds up under sustained heat without hardening or cracking. In a cabin environment where a cord is constantly flexing, being stepped on, and sitting near heat, that difference shows up over a season — not on day one.

Running one wheel across two cars. Leave a cord permanently installed in each vehicle and move the wheel between them. No re-routing, no unplugging at the firewall, no compromise on either car's install.

Spares for race weekend. A damaged cord at a track 400km from home ends your weekend. It's the cheapest insurance in the car.

Replacement. Cords are the most-handled component in the system. When one has done its time, replace it with the same spec rather than the nearest thing available.
